What
is Excess Insurance?
Excess
is the amount you have to pay in the event of a claim on your insurance policy.
Generally the larger your excess the lower your insurance premium.
Excess
insurance protects the excess amount in the event of a claim.
How
it Works
If
you have a £500 excess on your home insurance and you have a claim for £1000,
you are liable for the first £500 of the claim and the insurance company for the
remaining £500.
Our
policy would reimburse you for the £500 excess charge.
We
offer two types of product, Insurance Excess protection and Motor Excess protection.
Prices range from as little as £35 for Motor Excess protection per year and we
cover up to £750 of insurance excess. Our Insurance Excess protection product
covers the excess on five key insurances; home, motor, health, travel and pet
insurance.
Prices start from as little as £35, for more information click here The Motor
Excess allows you to reduce your motor insurance premium by having a higher limit
on your policy. This product must be purchased within 7 days of your policy renewal
or start date.
